74, raised in the church from the time I was long, not tall. The woman who taught Jr. Church when I was a child said to me when I was in my 20’s, “You are going to be the leader of the Jr. Church.” I said, “I don’t think so.” She said, “Pray about it.” So, I did. Guess what? I became the next leader of the Jr. Church. Sadly, I became saved outside the church at 19. And I was baptized in the pool of the YMCA. I am a Christian first, however, I have been a member or have attended the Methodist church, a charasmatic independent church, Friends/Quaker church, and the Baptist church.  In my 30’s I was comparing six different translations and the four Gospels trying (in my own study) to come up with a common language and consolidating the Gospels into one story of the life of Jesus, I never intended to have it published. Printing my manuscript for others, someone said that I should have it published in order to leave a hard copy of my work to be left for others to appreciate. And thus, here it is, The Life of Jesus, a Consolidation of the Gospels by Mike Leach.
